Captive bolt gun JP6 CZ is a device used for stunning animals prior to slaughter. After putting the gun to the slaughter animal’s head and discharging a cartridge, a steel piston (a spike) is automatically thrusted out to stun the animal before bleeding. Inside the bolt gun, the steel piston (spike) is equipped with rubber stopper which brakes the piston after its discharge and protects it from damage. 9 mm captive-bolt cartridges by any manufacturer can be used with the captive bolt gun but we recommend using 9x20mm Sellier & Bellot cartridges.
